| What should we tell applicants for this committee regarding expectations of members (anticipated workload, existence of subcommittees, etc.)? | This committee meets infrequently when appeals arise, and meetings are scheduled for 30-90 minutes depending on the number of appeals. Committee members are expected to review appeals fairly and consistently under Board of Regents policy and state law, while preparing in advance, attending meetings, and participating actively in respectful discussion and decisions, est. 3-5 hours per semester. |
| Recommendations, if any, to the shared governance groups. | None. It is very helpful to have the registrar's assistance with this committee, which they willingly provide. |
