The committee meets the third Tuesday of every month from 2:00pm-3:00pm via Zoom. Meetings may end early if the committee completes the review of appeals before the scheduled end time. Conversely, the committee will meet beyond the prescribed one hour if necessary to address that month's caseload.

New committee members will need to familiarize themselves with university parking regulations and campus geography in relation to parking lots/ramps.

The committee chair can hold a one-on-one orientation meeting with new members.

There are limited responsibilities outside of scheduled meetings. The time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours per month.

Ad hoc meetings may be scheduled based on committee member availability and a high volume of appeals.

It is important that committee members attend the meetings; at least three members must be present to hear appeals.

The committee may occasionally request campus tours from UI Parking officials or request maps of new parking lots or areas of concern on campus.

Members must remember to be fair and objective, and willing to hear even the most frivolous sounding appeals.
