Read the ideas submitted by faculty for strategic priorities to advance the University.

President Harreld recently met with shared governance (Faculty Senate, Staff Council, and Student Government) leaders and invited us to reach out to our constituencies for input into developing key initiatives that could have a major impact across the University. 

We received over 70 submissions, a number of which were jointly submitted by several faculty members.  Some of the submissions were similar enough to one another that we combined them into one item.  A number of the proposals were quite extensive. Therefore, we are providing two documents. One is  a brief discussion of each of the proposals. The second contains the full text of the longer proposals. The proposals are numbered identically in the documents so if one identifies a brief description that is interesting, he/she can easily find the full text in the other document. Note that a few of the proposals fall within more than one group and are included in both.
